Elizabeth Ding
2007-2008 State President
Elizabeth is currently a senior at River Hill High School. She is proud and honored to serve as the 2007-2008 Maryland State President! As the State President, Elizabeth hopes to increase statewide communication, statewide membership, and statewide participation in events offered by both Maryland FBLA and the National office. She has consistently placed at the regional and state levels. Since becoming a part of FBLA in the ninth grade, Elizabeth has harbored a deep passion for many different aspects of business and wishes to help the state of Maryland reach the pinnacle of her potential. |
James Ko
2007-2008 State Vice President
James Ko is proud to serve as your 2007-2008 State Vice President! He is currently a junior at Dulaney High School. He aspires to combine his interests in medicine and business. James has been a part of FBLA since the beginning of his freshman year and has received many awards. For the upcoming year, James plans to diversify activities on the state level to bolster membership, increase public awareness, and strengthen Maryland's place on the national level. |
Robert Bostick
2007-2008 State Secretary
Rocky Bostick is currently a junior at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland and he is honored and proud to be serving as the state secretary for the upcoming 2007-2008 school year! Aside from participating in such activities as his school's Ecology Club and various acting-related endeavors, Rocky enjoys competing and getting involved in his chapter FBLA. This school year past, he competed at the regional and state level in "Management Decision Making" and was awarded second and third place respectively. When at his leisure, Rocky takes pleasure indulging himself with the classical sounds of Beethoven and Schubert that he creates with his piano. |
Kevin Chew
2007-2008 State Treasurer
Kevin Chew is a honor roll student as well as a varsity football player. He enjoys watching movies and hanging out with his friends. He has participated in Hospice, and helps with the Special Olympics as well as with the nursing home. Along with being a member of FBLA he am a member of the Key Club as well as the Academy of Finance. He has been an assistant basketball coach for Huntingtown High. |
Samuel Storey
2007-2008 State Reporter
Sam Storey is currently a junior at River Hill High School in Howard County, Maryland and is thrilled to serve as your 2007-2008 Maryland State Reporter. Sam is actively involved in his school's FBLA chapter, and has recently been elected as it's Vice President. Aside from participating in FBLA, Sam is actively involved in his school's Student Governmet Association, Cure Club, Spanish Honors Society Best Buddies, and numerous other activities. He is also actively involved in his community, where he has volunteered at his local hospital, his neighborhood Red Cross, and many soup kitchens throughout the state. In his spare time, Sam enjoys watching his favorite classical movies at home, particularly his personal favorite, In the Heat of the Night. He looks forward to working closely with every local FBLA chapter throughout Maryland to increase state-wide participation and to help chapters improve their public relations abilities. |
Nick Ziolkowski
2007-2008 State Historian
Nick is currently a junior at South Hagerstown High School and is pleased to be Maryland's 2007-2008 FBLA State Historian. During his term in office, he wishes to help expand the growth of FBLA, as well as the knowledge of the members within it. He will work hard to serve all FBLA members in many ways, including his main officer tasks of maintaining the state scrapbook and website. Nick is in Future Business Leaders of America, Academy of Finance, and on the Boy's Varsity Soccer team. He lopves nothing more than for absoutely everyone to share wonderful moments, and achieve beyond their planned goals at the same time. Nick looks forward to another great year in FBLA, and the ambiance of his fellow FBLA members. |
Jia Guo
2007-2008 State Parliamentarian
Jia Guo is proud to serve as your 2007-2008 State Parliamentarian. Jia attends Dulaney High School where she is involved in a number of extra curricular organizations outside of FBLA, which include National Honor Society and Key Club. Over the past four years in FBLA, Jia has attended the 2005, 2006, and 2007 National Conferences as a competitor in various events including Parliamentary Procedure. As a member of the state officer team, Jia challenges members to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by this organization. |
David Gu
2007-2008 Region I Vice President
David Gu is proud to serve as your 2007-2008 Maryland FBLA Region I Vice President. David is a senior at Urbana High School and has served as president of his local FBLA chapter. He has received awards at the regional and state level in events such as Economics and Business Plan. In addition to FBLA, David is involved in his school's Student Government, National Honor Society, and Fed Challenge. David plans on attending college to pursue multiple degrees in business and science. As Region I Vice President, he hopes to raise membership, increase communication within the region and the state, as well as create an even more enriching experience for FBLA members. Michelle Yu is proud to serve as your 2007-2008 Maryland FBLA Region IIA Vice President. Michelle is currently a senior at Dulaney High School. She has been involved with her chapter since joining FBLA her freshman year of high school. Michelle is the Vice President of her local high school chapter. Michelle plans on increasing membership throughout the region as well as enhancing communication between chapters. Michelle looks forward to serving as your 2007-2008 Region IIA Vice President. |
Anita Ram
2007-2008 Region IIC Vice President
Anita Ram, a senior at River Hill High School, is proud to serve as your 2007-2008 Region IIC Vice President. Anita has placed on both regional and state levels for Word Processing I in 2006 and Parlimentary Procedures in 2007. She currently serves as the chapter President at River Hill and remains passionate about this organization. In addition to FBLA, Anita is a part of the National Honor Society, varsity Outdoor Track team, and has been a classical Indian dancer since the age of ten. In 2005, she attained her black belt from the American Academy of Martial Arts. As one of the Region Vice Presidents, Anita looks forward to working in conjunction with you and the state officer team to better communication and membership throughout the state of Maryland. |

Russell McCormack is proud to serve as your 2007-2008 Maryland FBLA Region V Vice President. Russell has been in FBLA since his freshman year, and during his sophomore year, he has served as Chapter Vice President. As Region V Vice President, Russell hopes to improve communication on both the regional and state level. He also hopes to increase membership and chapter and regional participation.
