Aaron Moore
2009-2010 State President
Aaron Moore is currently a senior at Overlea High School & Academy of Finance in Baltimore County. He is proud and honored to serve as the 2009-2010 Maryland FBLA State President! As State President, Aaron hopes to increase statewide communication, membership, and participation in events offered by both Maryland FBLA and National FBLA. He has consistently placed at the regional and state levels. Aaron is also the Legislative Director for Baltimore County Student Councils, a DECA member, Northeast Educational Advisory Board member (BCPS) and is an Overlea Falcon Tennis Team member. Since joining FBLA in the 9th grade, Aaron has put his Leadership in Action to Get the Edge and now wants to help the state of Maryland Reach Epic Heights and become Simply the Best with your help and the help of your 2009-2010 State Officer Team! |
Scott Salopek
2009-2010 State Vice President
Scott Salopek, your 2009-2010 State Vice President, is a senior at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland. He is going into his third year of involvement in Future Business Leaders of America, and is serving his second year as an officer, both at the state and local level. Scott has served as a local chapter Vice President and President, and has served as the Maryland State Secretary/ Reporter. He is also a leader in his church, serving as an at-large member on his church's Congregation Council. He is currently writing a book on leadership with his father. Scott has gathered experience and grown so much due to FBLA and hopes he can assist in your growth through his service as your State Vice President, he is eager to serve you and make your year Simply the best! |
Dylan Baker
2009-2010 State Secretary-Treasurer
Dylan Baker is proud to serve as your 2009-2010 State Secretary-Treasurer. He will see to it, along with the other officers and you, that our organization will be Simply the Best. He has been a member of this elite organization for four years! Joining FBLA as a freshman has been one of the greatest decisions he has made in his life. Gloria Majchrzak
2009-2010 State Reporter-Historian
Gloria Majchrzak is so excited and honored to be your 2009-2010 State Reporter-Historian! She is currently a senior at Walkersville High School in Frederick, Maryland and was re-elected to be Walkersville's FBLA Chapter Secretary. Aside from FBLA, Gloria is a member of the National Honor Society, P.R.I.D.E. Mentoring for Students, DECA and SkillsUSA. She hopes to increase FBLA awareness in schools as well as keep the current MDFBLA members up to date with the latest news. |
Karthik Krishnan
2009-2010 State Webmaster
Karthik Krishnan is currently a junior at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland. At River Hill, he serves as the chapter’s Project Manager and has been involved since his freshman year. He is honored to serve as the Maryland Webmaster for the 2009-2010 school year. His goals include opening a new channel of communication, engaging members in a new way, and allowing local chapters to interact with the state chapter effortlessly. Daniel Li
2009-2010 State Parliamentarian
Daniel Li is currently a senior at River Hill High School in Howard County. As the Maryland State Parliamentarian and his School Chapter Parliamentarian, Daniel has been a part of FBLA since his freshmen year and has enjoyed every moment, from participating in local chapter events to attending national conferences. He looks forward to an exciting year working with the state officer team and meeting with different chapters, members, and leaders from across the state. |
Nina Baum
2009-2010 Region I Vice President
Nina Baum is a senior at Walkersville High School. She aspires to continue in the business field and be an entrepreneur. She has been president of her FBLA chapter for the last two years and was re-elected for the third. Nina is currently the Region One Vice-President for the 2009-2010 school year. Her goals are to increase regional communication, activate more chapters, and give back to others the experiences she has had. Last year, Nina and her partner took first place at the state level in business presentation. She looks forward to helping everyone in Maryland as we Reach Epic Heights! |
Ariel Jones
2009-2010 Region IIA Vice President
Ariel Jones is a senior at Chesapeake High School in Baltimore County. Last year, Ariel served as the State Treasurer for FBLA but decided this year that she wanted to focus her energies on a more regional level. Ariel hopes to bring new ideas and implement them within the region this year. Ariel also spends time concentrating on her studies and preparing for college. |
Faith Katsman
2009-2010 Region IIC Vice President
Faith Katsman is a junior at Marriotts Ridge High School, in Marriottsville, Maryland. Faith gained a love for leadership by attending the Junior National Leadership Conference in Washington D.C., representing her Middle School. She joined FBLA as a freshman to gain more extensive leadership experience and to gain knowledge of the business world. As an active FBLA member Faith has demonstrated leadership by serving as President of her chapter last year and has been re-elected to serve again. Outside of FBLA, Faith is involved in high school volleyball and tennis, where she is also team captain. This year Faith is determined to increase membership within her region and help Maryland Reach Epic Heights! |
Sedra Gibbs
2009-2010 Region III Vice President
Sedra Gibbs attends Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt , Maryland. She is proud to hold the office of FBLA Region III Vice President. She has been an active member in FBLA since her junior year. In college, she is determined to continue with FBLA in Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) as an active member. Outside of FBLA, Sedra is a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda and Black Student Association. In the upcoming year, she hopes to recruit more members and encourage members to become more dedicated and involved in all FBLA activities. |
John Stabile
2009-2010 Region IV Vice President
John Stabile is currently a senior at St. Mary’s Ryken High School in Leonardtown and will be the Region IV Vice President during the 2009-2010 school year. Besides being active in FBLA at the state and local levels since his freshman year, John has also been involved in his school newspaper, Ambassador’s Club, National Honors Society chapter, and cross country and track teams. He looks forward to working with everyone in Maryland FBLA and helping lead Region IV to Reach Epic Heights! |

Samantha Still is a junior at North Harford High School. She has been an active member in FBLA for a year and is excited to be the Region V Vice President. Tyeisha Acree
2009-2010 Region VI Vice President
Tyeisha Acree is a senior at Colonel Richardson High School in Federalsburg, MD. She is very responsible, and loves to take on challenges. Once she figures out how to do a certain task she will do it to the best of her ability. She also loves to hang with her friends in her free time. Music is her life, it keeps her going. Tyeisha is currently employed at Sonic, she has been working there for 3 months. She is also the Treasurer of Colonel Richardson FBLA. Tyeisha is a member of the Lifelong Learning Center, an after school enrichment program. She loves to give back to the community in any way possible whether it be donating clothes, food, or just a helping hand to pick up trash at the town park. She often can be found helping her peers who are struggling to succeed in their classes. |
