       Tiffany Jackson
       state president

    Tiffany Jackson, a senior at Northern High School in Calvert County, is honored to serve as your 2017-2018 State President. Her involvement in FBLA started her freshman year where she made it all the way to Nationals for Public Speaking I. Since then, Tiffany has devoted countless hours towards this organization which have led her to receiving several awards at the State and Local levels as well as given her the opportunity to serve as the 2016-2017 Region 4 Vice President. Tiffany looks forward to actively participating in FBLA and leading Maryland FBLA down the path to success. She hopes to make a difference in the lives of members and encourage students to dream big and elevate their futures because, after all, ‘’if your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough”.

    STATE REPORTER -HISTORIAN

    Lucy Wang, a senior at River Hill High School in Howard County, is delighted to serve as your 2017-2018 State Reporter-Historian. Lucy joined FBLA her sophomore year, and has devoted her time towards the organization ever since. After attending conferences at the region, state, and national level, she wishes to give back to FBLA as it has provided so much for her. Dedicated and passionate, she strives to inspire other students to become leaders and to start chapters of their own. Lucy is ecstatic to work with you this year!

    Rachel Calimer
    REGION 2 VICE PRESIDENT

    Rachel Calimer, a senior at Perry Hall High School in Baltimore County, is excited to serve as your 2017-2018 Region 2 Vice President. Her involvement in FBLA began her sophomore year when she was introduced to the many opportunities FBLA had to offer. She has since competed at the National Leadership Conference in Sales Presentation and became the President of her local FBLA chapter. FBLA has allowed Rachel to improve her leadership skills, strive for new goals, and step out of her comfort zone. She looks forward to working with the rest of the State Officer Team to make this year amazing for Maryland FBLA!

    Katrina Eisentraut
    STATE VICE PRESIDENT

    Katrina Eisentraut, a senior at Middletown High School in Frederick County is a returning State Officer and eager to serve as your 2017 - 2018 State Vice President. Since joining FBLA her freshman year, she has been able to witness the opportunities and skills this organization provides for its students. Every conference she is constantly impressed by the support and dedication the members, advisors and board members have for FBLA. She’s been so fortunate to find an organization like FBLA that she has so much passion and love for. She can’t wait to make this last year the best as she elevates her future alongside fellow students and the rest of the State Officer Team!

    Marjorie Antonio
    STATE PARLIAMENTARIAN

    Marjorie Antonio, a senior at Eastern Technical High School in Baltimore County, is honored to serve as the 2017-2018 State Parliamentarian. Her passion for FBLA began her sophomore year when she attended the regional, state, and national conferences. Inspired and armored with the desire to lead, she sought out leadership roles within her school and community. Her goal is to encourage others to unlock their own leadership potential. Marjorie is very excited to be a part of the state officer team and hopes to make this year remarkable!

    Sarah Donaldson
    REGION 4 VICE PRESIDENT

    Sarah Donaldson, a junior at Northern High School, is excited and honored to be a part of the 2017-2018 state officer team. She joined FBLA freshman year after being talked into it by friends that were already a part of the organization. However, about a month into the year she held an officer position as the 9th Grade Ambassador and began to realize the growing passion she had for the organization. Opportunities began arising sophomore year when Sarah became the Secretary/Webmaster of her chapter and was a lead coordinator of their Community Service Project. At state competitions, the Community Service Project earned 1st place and her Website Design Project received 2nd. FBLA has provided so many opportunities and has inspired her to set higher goals and achieve greater potential. She is excited to pursue the future goals she has for Region 4 and is eager to connect and grow with the members of the Maryland FBLA chapter.

    Sophie Shen
    STATE SECRETARY-TREASURER

    Sophie Shen, a senior at River Hill High School, is extremely excited to serve as your 2017-2018 State Secretary-Treasurer. FBLA has been a significant part of her high school experience since freshman year, as it has brought countless opportunities to learn valuable skills and network on the school, regional, state, and national level. She hopes to bring to others what this organization has brought to her by emphasizing unity in the state chapter. In addition to being an FBLA officer, Sophie is also an artist, tennis player, and dog lover. She cannot wait for an exciting year with Maryland FBLA!

    Nabila Prasetiawan
    REGION 1 VICE PRESIDENT

    Nabila Prasetiawan, a Senior at Middletown High School in Frederick County, is honored to serve as your 2016 - 2017 Region 1 Vice President. She has been a devoted member of FBLA since joining in her sophomore year, and was inspired to run and serve as State Officer. She has attended the State Leadership Conference where she competed in Intro to Business and Public Speaking. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the American Red Cross and traveling the world. Nabila is proud to be apart of making Maryland FBLA’s goals a reality this upcoming year to elevate YOUR future!

    Megha Sharma
    rEGION 5 VICE PRESIDENT

    Megha Sharma, a senior at Long Reach High School, is honored and excited to serve as your Region 5 Vice President for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. She has served as President of her school's new chapter of three years and she has grown a deeper appreciation of FBLA and leadership through the experience. She had the opportunity to compete at the 2016 National Leadership Conference and place first in Sales Presentation. Megha hopes to work within her region and the state to make FBLA's goals and
    ​opportunities become a reality for all members of MD FBLA.

    VIEW ANOTHER YEAR'S STATE OFFICER TEAM

    SINCE 1957
    Maryland FBLA was established in April 1957, with the first chartered chapter at Forest Park High School in Baltimore. There are five administrative regions in Maryland FBLA, each headed by a Regional Vice President. In January and February, each region holds a competition to decide the members eligible to compete at the State Leadership Conference in the spring. Members placing first, second, third, or fourth in their competitive event at the SLC are eligible to compete at the National Leadership Conference hosted by National FBLA-PBL.
