Olivia Herrin
State President olivia.herrin@mdfbla.org Olivia Herrin, a junior at Northern High School in Calvert County, is extremely excited to serve as your 2023-2024 State President. After joining FBLA in sixth grade, she developed a passion for the organization and the many opportunities it provides for members. As she entered high school, she continued to stay involved and loved the sense of community she found within her new chapter. In her free time, Olivia enjoys her family and faith, hanging out with friends, and reading. As a previous state officer, Olivia hopes to continue the amazing work of her former team and continue to make sure everyone in MD FBLA is connected at a local, state, and national level! Ethan Taksey
Parliamentarian ethantaksey@mdfbla.org Ethan Taksey, a senior in the STEM program at South River High School in Anne Arundel County, is thrilled to serve as your 2023-2024 Parliamentarian. After joining FBLA virtually in 9th grade, he quickly got engaged in the SRHS FBLA community by participating in every ‘FBLA Friday’ and taking advantage of the multitude of opportunities the organization had to offer. Ethan is dedicated to serving MD FBLA by engaging and expanding new and existing chapters, as well as serving side-by-side with the other State Officers! In his free time, Ethan enjoys playing tennis, golf, and soccer, and exploring his interests in medicine. To have another successful year in FBLA, Ethan hopes to bridge MD FBLA members on a local, state, and national level to ensure that all voices are heard!
Sarah Alvi
Region 3 Vice President sarah.alvi@mdfbla.org Sarah Alvi, a junior at South River High School in Anne Arundel County, is excited to serve as your 2022-2023 Region 3 Vice President. Sarah began her journey in FBLA her freshman year of high school and has been a STEM student ever since, excited to experience the amazing opportunities in FBLA. Sarah is passionate about growing the South River FBLA chapter and planning enjoyable activities for her fellow future business leaders. Aside from school and FBLA, Sarah engages in her small business for event-planning and a fun fact about Sarah is that she’s traveled to 49 U.S. State Capitals! Sarah looks forward to helping Maryland FBLA become even more successful than last year and hopefully recruiting new schools to start FBLA chapters this year, in order to compete in a well-organized Regional Leadership Conference!

Mahnoor Rao
Secretary-Treasurer mahnoor.rao@mdfbla.org Mahnoor Rao, a senior at River Hill High School in Howard County, is honored to be your 2023-2024 Secretary- Treasurer. Mahnoor joined FBLA her freshman year of high school. She enjoyed the competitive events and workshops,and even went on to become a National Winner. Mahnoor loved the sense of community she found and the professionalism of the organization. After spending the past year as an officer in her local chapter, she wanted to give back to MD FBLA. By being a State Officer she hopes to ensure everyone is aware of the many opportunities available to them and that their FBLA experiences are fantastic. Mahnoor also enjoys watching movies, baking/cooking, running, and working with animals. She is excited to work with the rest of the state team and local chapters to ensure a FBLA experience you will love! Enya Sliwinski
Region 1 Vice President enya.sliwinski@mdfbla.org Enya Sliwinski, a junior at Century High School in Carroll County, is honored to be your 2023-2024 Region 1 Vice President. Enya joined FBLA her freshman year, hoping to advance her business skills and meet new people. She is excited to represent her region this year and is planning an exciting regional conference for our members! She hopes to make a positive impact on Region 1 and Maryland FBLA and is dedicated to representing all student's region/statewide. Enya is committed to working collaboratively with other FBLA members, chapter leaders, advisors, and State Officers to grow our wonderful organization. In her free time she likes to spend time with family and friends, travel, and engage her local community through clubs such as Project Linus and Girls Who Code. Jazzlyn Lewis
Region 4 Vice President jazzlyn.lewis@mdfbla.org Jazzlyn Lewis, a senior at Laurel High School, is ecstatic to be your 2023-2024 Region 4 Vice President. Jazzlyn joined FBLA in her junior year and immediately saw that this was the organization for her. She soon developed a strong commitment to FBLA. She is ready to experience new opportunities, challenges, and skills FBLA has to offer. While also being excited to grow and continue the path she is taking with FBLA. This year Jazzlyn hopes to connect to existing members and potential members on all levels to help them succeed, through various opportunities and events. Outside of FBLA, Jazzlyn’s hobbies include cooking, making jewelry, traveling, and making sure to enjoy life. Jazzlyn feels proud and lucky to be able to be Maryland Region 4 Vice President.

Jackie Wang
Reporter-Historian jackie.wang@mdfbla.org Jackie Wang, a senior at Montgomery Blair High School, is exhilarated to serve as your 2023-2024 Reporter-Historian. Having joined in her first year of high school, Jackie thinks FBLA has been one of her greatest passions for the past few years, serving as a place where she's met so many amazing new friends and gained new learning experiences, and even being a two-time Nationals award winner! Jackie is extremely passionate about business and hopes to bring the joys she's experienced in this field to her peers all throughout Maryland; in fact, through her education-related small business, Jackie hopes to share academic opportunities with other students and lead her team. In her free time, Jackie enjoys learning about art cultures around the world, hanging out with her friends, and watching football with her family. Lauren Brandt
Region 2 Vice President lauren.brandt@mdfbla.org Lauren Brandt, a senior at Hereford High School in Baltimore County, is thrilled to serve as your 2023-2024 Region 2 Vice President. After joining FBLA as a sophomore, Lauren knew she found her place among incredible individuals who inspire her every day. She served as her local chapter’s Vice President and decided to take her leadership abilities to the state level. Lauren is eager to grow Maryland FBLA and bridge the gap between the state level and local chapters. She hopes to connect with members, promote unity, and inspire others to lead. In her free time, she enjoys acting, music, filmmaking, running, and spending time with friends. Lauren is immensely grateful for this opportunity and aims to leave a lasting impact. She looks forward to a wonderful year and can’t wait to see what the incredible officer team will accomplish. Ami Mundra
Region 5 Vice President ami.mundra@mdfbla.org Ami Mundra, a junior at Richard Montgomery High School, is excited to serve as your 2023-2024 Region 5 Vice President. Ami got involved in FBLA her freshman year of high school and quickly fell in love with the opportunities and experiences it provided. Ami wants to continue growing MD FBLA and connect with members across the state! She hopes to increase communication and foster a sense of community in FBLA as well. Outside of FBLA, she plays on her school’s tennis team and enjoys public speaking. She also loves to travel, hang out with her friends, and listen to music. She is excited to make this the best year ever for FBLA!
